Most students at Msolwa live on campus.
Arts Department
Teaches History, Geography, Civics, Kiswahili, and English Language and Literature.
Catering Staff
Runs the school kitchen and refectory, preparing meals for several hundred boarding students every day.

Historically the school has run an A-Level section offering both Arts and Science combinations. A newer specialization, PMC (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science), was introduced for Forms 5–6 in the 2021/2022 academic year.
